Way Overdue!

So I am way late on this but here goes my Christmas post. So our first Christmas was with my dad's family. It was the Sunday before Christmas out at my grandparents farm. This also happened to be the day after we moved into the new house.

We had a great time with everyone and Kendyl had so much fun opening presents. My dad and stepmom got her the potty baby she has been eyeing at Target. Her reaction to this present was priceless and way outdid every other reaction.

The next Christmas was on Christmas Eve. We went to my brother's to exchange gifts between our kids and from my mom. Kendyl got a set of twin babies that talk to each other. I think her daddy was more impressed than she was :-)! She also got some Littlest Pet Shop stuff from my sister and some princess and dress up stuff from my brother.

Next, we all headed over to my aunt's house to spend some time with the rest of my mom's family. We changed things up a little and played rob your neighbor and everyone seemed to really enjoy it. It was nice to have the everyone there for the first time in a long time. Kendyl also got a gift from my Grandma, a Tinkerbell dress up outfit!

Christmas morning was fun. We woke Kendyl up so she could open her presents from Santa before we headed to C's mom's house. She got a Barbie Jeep and some other fun stuff. I think the funniest reaction we got that morning was when she open the Tinkerbell movie. She looked at it and said, "Finally!" Like she had been waiting her whole life for that movie. She immediately got up and ran to put it on the shelf with the rest of her movies. The whole thing was so cute. I have a video, but I can't seem to get it to upload anywhere. :(

After we opened Santa presents we headed out for the day. Of course there were more presents and lots of food and just an overall relaxing day. Kendyl had so much fun that she didn't want to leave and ended up spending the night!

The Saturday after Christmas we went to C's dad's house. We got more presents and more time with family, but I think we were just about Christmased out.
Overall 2008 was great for all of us and we really enjoyed the entire holiday season.
