Swimming Lessons

So this summer we decided we should put Kendyl in swimming lessons. Let me just say she loves them. She has done really well being independent from us. I guess all that time in ballet class helped her get used to listening to adults that are not related to her. Mission accomplished.

So while she is not quite ready for the Olympics she has passed her turtle class with flying colors!

After she passed turtle we got to enroll her in the seahorse class. So we got there the first night all excited to see what she was going to learn only to find out she had a male teacher. Now my little princess is not fond of men. It takes her awhile to warm up to even the ones she knows so she was having no part of this teenage boy teaching her how to swim. That would require him to hold her and I think she would rather drown that have him hold her. Lucky for us he was just a sub. She sat in with another class for the night and returned on night two to her female teacher. Now if we could just get her to kick, scoop and blow bubbles all at the same time!
